Great lunch! I had shrimp fajitas, Good lunch size. Husband had a shrimp tropical salad. Each for $16.99. We added one of their gigantic dulce de leches milk shakes for dessert. It was $18; but definitely enough for 2. Dyana was a very nice serve.

Stopped in for a quick bite since I was in the area. I had the vaca frita bao buns and a passion fruit juice. My drink was refreshing! While I enjoyed everything in my bao buns, I couldn't enjoy the actual bun. It was very hard and in some places crispy even. Not fluffy and airy. Not sure if they were old, but they weren't good at all. The service was great!

Delicious food a good atmosphere and really decadent and yummy desserts. We came for lunch and enjoyed every bite. Monday-Friday kids eat free with paying adult. They also have a happy hour Monday through Friday with several specials like $5 wines and $10 bites.

We visited this location night 2 of our trip to South Florida. The restaurant can get really crowded, so get reservations, especially if you're visiting on the weekend. I originally wanted to go to Bocas House for the crazy milkshake drinks they have. They're very "IG-able". My belly was too full from all the eating I did earlier in the day; plus the time-zone change is really messing with me. While at Bocas House, we did dine on the fried pork belly and fried cassava. I had the skirt steak with fettuccine and the hubby had the wok-seared chicken. We both enjoyed, but I was so full, I took mine back to the resort and ate it at later time. After heating it up in the microwave the fettuccine and skirt steak was still delicious!

Located in a nice vibrant area of Weston, Bocas has a modern appeal on the inside. The servers were attentive and fun to talk to. There were so many delicious plates on the menu, but I went with the chicken milanesa which sat on a bed of fries. On the top was an amazing creamy sauce with cheese, bacon bits, and sweet plantains. So good! My wife had the lomo saltado and she said it was the best she had ever had. A pretty bold statement coming from her. The drinks were really good. I had the Moscow mule and it had a nice kick. The dessert was huge and good enough for 3 or 4. Really tasty shake. I will be back to try all of their shareable huge plates. Can't wait!

We came here for dinner after a long day of shopping. Saw some dishes on the menu that piqued my interest so decided to give it a try. The restaurant didn't seem that big, but we were seated right away. My sparkling white sangria was so refreshing, but half the drink was filled with fruit. LOL. All of our entrees were delicious and the portions were big. I wanted to order a mini milkshake, but they said it was only available at certain times so I was bummed out about that. I didn't have any room left (nor did I need it) for the normal size milkshake so maybe next time.

My son-in-law had been wanting to try Bocas House for awhile so we decided to celebrate his birthday here. I'm really glad we made a reservation because they were packed on a Sunday at 6. We were greeted at the outside podium and seated right away. Our server showed up within minutes and took our drink order. Between the three of us we ordered a sparkling passion fruit sangria and two sparkling white sangrias. The drinks were large and excellent. For food we ordered the pork croquetas and parrilla mixta to share. The food was definitely the highlight here. The board came with porterhouse, chicken breast, ribs, chorizo, blood sausage, cole slaw, corn, fries and three additional side choices. Every single thing was delicious. My daughter and SIL even ate the blood sausage which they swore they would never eat again. For dessert we ordered the cookies and cream milkshake. The milkshakes look fantastic with all of the treats added to the top but the actual shake was lacking. It was probably the thinnest shake I've ever had. When I order a $20.00 milk shake I expect it to be thick and smooth and refreshing. This was the consistency of melted ice cream. Honestly this would have been a five star review had the milkshake been better. Overall he had a great birthday dinner. I'd come back for the food but skip the shake next time.
